How we support accessible browsing
To make our website easy to use for everyone, we've done the following:
- Our website is responsive and can be viewed in portrait and landscape mode.
- It’s possible to navigate to our web pages in different ways to ensure customers can locate content in a way that best meets their needs.
- The position of our navigation menu, search and footer is consistent across our website, making it easy to find these.
- A link to our Help information is consistently available in the header.
- Controls such as buttons and links are big enough or have enough spacing around them to ensure they can get activated easily, including by people who find fine motor movements difficult.
- To reduce accidental activation of controls by mouse or touch, controls such as buttons only get activated when the customer lifts the finger off the mouse key or off the touchscreen (as opposed to when pressing down).
- The same labels are used across the site for components that have the same functionality.
- Errors in our forms are described in text, so customers know an errors exists and what is wrong.
- Groceries orders can get amended or cancelled after they are placed up to the cut-off point. Cut-off points vary depending on the order type.
- Customers are not asked to enter the same information twice when placing an order, making it easier to complete an order.
- Content on our website gets announced in a meaningful order by screen readers.
- Browsers and assistive technologies, such as screen readers, can present the purpose of input fields that collect customer information in different ways. For example, personal information such as the name can be auto-filled by the browser.
- Keyboard focus doesn’t get trapped, allowing keyboard-only users to navigate away from interactive elements.
- Moving mouse or keyboard focus to an item does not cause an unexpected change such as loading a new window.

How we support accessible online shopping
To make our app easy to use for everyone, we've done the following:

- Content in our app is readable when a customer adjusts the text spacing.
- All content can be reached without scrolling into two directions at the same time.
- Colour is not used as the only way to communicate information.
- Controls and meaningful graphics have a good colour contrast to ensure they can be seen by people with low vision.
- The app does not contain flashing content.
Navigation
- Each app screen has a clear title.
- Links are clear so that customers know where the link will take them to.
- It’s possible to navigate to our app in different ways to ensure customers can locate content in a way that best meets their needs.
- The position of the app navigation is consistent across our app, making it easy to find it.

- Moving mouse or keyboard focus to an item does not cause an unexpected change such as loading a new window.
